Separation based on ligand exchange, i.e. formation of ternarymixed-ligand complexes with the Cu(II)ions; differences in
the stability of the diastereomeric complexes cause chromatographic separation

enantiomer separation of amino acids, N-methylamino acids, N-formylamino Acids,
